Gatchalian endorses Villar

Senator Win Gatchalian endorses the reelection bid of Sen. Cynthia A. Villar who has been known as “Misis Hanepbuhay” for giving jobs and livelihood to improve the lives of Filipinos. The senator has been espousing on “Sipag and Tiyaga, is also being supported by Hugpong ng Pagbabgo, the regional political party founded by presidential daughter Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte. Gatchalian called on his constituents during the political rally in Valenzuela to rallied behind the candidacy of Villar, chair of the Senate committees on food and agriculture and environment.

Vegafria on Montagne's pageant finish: 'Dapat siya ang nanalo!'

Talent manager Arnold Vegafria has initially expressed disappointment when Filipino-American model Maureen Montagne won 1st runner-up in the Miss Eco International 2019 beauty pageant held in Egypt in March. "Dapat siya ang nanalo! Napanood mo ba?" said the soft-spoken Vegafria during an exclusive interview when asked about his reactions to Montagne's finish in the competition. Suheyn Cipriano of Peru won Miss Eco International 2019. But Vegafria said that he has long accepted the results and has no plans of filing any protests. "Okay na rin iyon. Jonas Gaffud, newly appointed creative director for Miss Universe Philippines, said he would love to see 2015 Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach play the role of 'Darna,' the same movie project earlier meant for Angel Locsin and Liza Soberano. "Hindi ko pa sya nakakausap nga eh hahaha. Pero ako gusto ko," said Gaffud, also the talent manager of the beauty queen, in an exclusive interview. Former Mr. Gay World titleholder John Raspado admitted that he feels sorry for newly crowned Mr. Gay World Philippines Janjep Carlos "because he has only few weeks to prepare'' for the competition in South Africa. A Filipino-American beauty queen nearly won a back-to-back pageant title when she finished second in the Miss Eco International 2019 pageant held at the Almasa Capital Theater in Cairo, Egypt last March 29. Miss Philippines Maureen Montagne won 1st runner in the beauty pageant, one year after Philippine representative Cynthia Thomalla was crowned Miss Eco International 2018.
