Cory Quirino, beauty queens sign up for Toledomed Skin & Body Centre

Self-acceptance will make you appear more attractive.

This was the inspiring message of two international beauty queens from the Philippines to women who struggle with the way they look, self-esteem, and acceptance.

"At the end of the day, we know we are not perfect. Everyone looks differently, very different and unique. And you just need to be content and happy with the way you look," said reigning Miss Intercontinental Karen Gallman during an interview.

Gallman added: "Yes, you can enhance but you should not look forward to changing your whole look. I think that it's just looking at everybody else. You stick with your own beauty and enhance it a little bit. There's nothing wrong with that. We are unique and you should be proud of who you are."

Miss Earth 2017 Karen Ibasco said women should understand their value and worth to acceptance the true meaning of self-confidence.

"A lot of girls nowadays find their worth and their value with how many likes, comments, or how many followers on Instagram or whatever platform on social media. But we need to understand the value and worth of who you are. And this clinic really upholds in being the best version of yourself. It doesn't mean that if you don't do anything you are not pretty. But it helps you accept who you are. And that's what we want to show to people," said Ibasco.

She added: "We are not against make-up, we are not against surgery. No matter what happens you need to learn to accept who you are because people will have insecurity. people who got things done are still insecure, so its dependent on how you carry yourself as a whole to show the people."

Both Gallman and Ibasco made the comments after they were launched as ambassadors of Toledomed Skin and Body Centre in Makati City last Monday. They were presented to the press along with new Mutya ng Pilipinas president Cory Quirino.

Asked about the latest trends at Toledomed Skin and Body Centre, Quirino said: "Toledomed is such an avid believer in technical and technological advancements and medical breakthroughs. He is always very current with the latest developments abroad. He is very much in-touch with the rapid changing of landscape aesthetic medicine."

The expert behind Toledomed - Dr. Librado N. Toledo Jr., also known as Dr. “T,” is passionate about transforming the lives of people by helping each individual boost their confidence and be the best versions of themselves. He says he never stops from becoming better in his field. (ROBERT REQUINTINA)

Now it can be told: actor William Martinez is one of brains behind the blockbuster youth-oriented movie "Bagets" in 1984. Red weaves magic at Red Hotel Cubao launch

True to feng shui tradition, the color red seems to favor the recent launch of Red Hotel in Cubao, the heart of Quezon City's main shopping and tourism district. The newest addition to the country's bustling tourism infrastructure boom, the 17-storey Red Hotel stands out with its gleaming red building. "It is all about the energy-giving vibes of the color red which invites good luck," says Simon Tan of Red Hotel Philippines, adding that, "red, in Chinese, loosely translates to "hot item" so we intend to be that hot from the time we planned to build Red hotel three years ago. True enough, there was a considerable number of walk-in guests to Red Hotel's soft-opening -- with only 100 rooms available for checking in. When it formally opens in May, Red Hotel's fully functioning amenities are for all guests' enjoyment: 199 rooms with modern facilities (at affordable rates that start at P3,488. for a Standard Queen to P4,488. for an ...
